Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox Web Stores Ban Dissenter Commenting Extension

Users of Chrome and Firefox can no longer get the Dissenter browser extension that adds a comments section to every web page on the internet from the Firefox or Chrome extension stores. Current users can still use the extensions, but will not be able to get updates.

I recommend switching to the Opera browser, as this browser is not based on Chrome or Mozilla and will run the extension without any issues. I’ve personally verified this and have switched to the Opera browser myself.

Opera, Chrome and Mozilla users can manually install the extension by downloading it from Dissenter.com/download and following the manual install instructions; however for Chrome and Mozilla users, because it will be running in developer mode, the extension will have to be re-enabled every time you open the browser and you’ll get warning messages telling you about an extension being in developer mode.
