Bitcoin mining on Mac osx 10.5.8

I'm having a hell of a time figuring out how to start mining since every way that I have found requires me to have snow leopard. Is there a way to do it with 10.5.8 or do I need Snow Leopard?

I'm just not sure buddy.

I'm sure there probably is a way.

I'm only familiar with the windows GUI executable.
