AUSTIN, Texas, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Joe Stack may have removed seats from the plane he flew into an Austin, Texas, office building to make room for extra fuel.
A law enforcement official speaking on condition of anonymity told CNN that several seats were missing from Stack's Piper Cherokee, and a fuel drum was also missing at Georgetown Municipal Airport.
"I think there is a good chance he might have put it on his plane," the official said.
Stack reportedly set fire to his home before embarking on his mission to attack the office building, which houses offices of the Internal Revenue Service, against which Stack held a decades-long grievance.
Two people died and two others were hospitalized with injuries sustained during the attack.
